McGregor Seals His UFC Return

McGregor has been vocal about his desire to headline the forthcoming UFC White House card. He recently disclosed that he was engaged in discussions with the US government concerning his involvement. Just days after these revelations, the charismatic Irish superstar confirmed that an agreement has been reached and he has signed the contract for his comeback.

“It’s a done deal, signed, delivered,”

McGregor stated emphatically to Sean Hannity.

“It ain’t a negotiation. It’s a done deal, signed, delivered.”

He further added,

“McGregor will compete in the White House for America’s 250th birthday.”

Addressing his relationship with the promotion, McGregor commented,

“Me and Dana [White] are in constant communication, we’ve done incredible business together. I’m the highest-generating fighter of all time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.”

He also highlighted the UFC`s significant new deal:

“They’ve just signed a breathtaking deal with Paramount, where we go to cable TV. $7.7 billion that deal was approved for.”

With characteristic confidence, he concluded,

“I’m ready to rock, baby. Bring in the big dog, the ‘Mac G’.”

Preparing for the White House Bout

Earlier, while speaking at a BKFC 82 media event, Conor McGregor provided insight into his preparations for this monumental return, following a hiatus of over four years. The 37-year-old shared details about his “operation” to ensure he is in prime condition for what is being hailed as one of the most anticipated UFC events ever.

“Eight months and change out to the White House event,”

McGregor explained to reporters.

“It’s a six-month operation… I consider it a six-month operation to get ready for this belt. And that’s my focus right now.”

He expressed his eagerness for the journey ahead:

“I’m just eager to, you know, climb the steps into being ready for my return. There’s a lot at stake, and I’m very excited at the opportunity.”
