Stipe Miocic Reveals Plans to `Try Something New`

Having wrapped up his decorated 14-year tenure in mixed martial arts following his title fight defeat to Jones nearly a year ago in New York, Miocic confirmed his retirement immediately after the bout. Known for his volunteer firefighter service outside of training camps, Miocic has hinted at his next career path. He recently revealed on social media a new YouTube series where he will explore various roles, including a goalkeeper, tennis player, photographer, and chef.

Reflecting on his fourth career stoppage loss against former two-division champion Jones in his final fight, Miocic made a bold assertion after spending three rounds with him in the Octagon. Furthermore, Miocic, who rarely suffered knockouts, disclosed that he was merely “an inch” away from evading the decisive strike.
